Lupita Sebastian produced a collection of works, which are strong surrealistic images depicting a new multi-dimensional world. This world is a space where both ancient and future symbols are birthed as one. They are future Icons of our subconcious past. Curiosity is provoked by the glimpse of creatures, strange, exotic, and often involved in mystical relashionships with one another, their world, and perhaps enven ourselves. The collection spans time as well as space and reaches back to a pre-human existance, when astral plants swirled into parallel evolutionary manifestations. In this space we see complex interchanges between humanoid creatures, their inner reality so much like our own dreams. Sebastian employs the marvelous tools of painting, line color, form and texture. A conceptual appeal reaches our minds and emotions through the same channels as music. And we are struck by a rich sensuality that threatens to materially transend into our own dimension.
